There are many VoIP systems and software in the world. Some of them are focused to ease configuration, some to do big interoperability, and some are focused to one VoIP protocol. Each of them has some advantages and disadvantages. We made OpenPhonyx which chooses its own way. Even if it is software today, it aims to be hardware platform in future. We want to develop PBX, which will be highly stable and usable for real business. Our primary goal is not easy configuration, but highly customisable system, controlled via XML and CLI.
